What is a Distance Disruptor?
A Distance Disruptor is a Black individual residing outside of Asheville or Buncombe County who actively challenges systemic racism and advocates for reparative justice, even from afar. Despite the physical distance, Distance Disruptors are committed to amplifying Black voices, supporting reparations efforts, and fostering solidarity across communities.
